        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s visit to France has\nyielded four commercial agreements worth $3.5 billion (approximately\nRp61.25 trillion), strengthening bilateral ties between the two\nnations.<\/p>\n<p>The Government Communications Agency (Bakom) of Indonesia stated on\nSaturday that Minister of Investment and Hilirisasi\/Head of BKPM Rosan\nRoeslani announced the agreements during the launch of the\nFrance-Indonesia High Level Business Council on May 28, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis forum serves not only as a platform for business dialogue but\nalso as a catalyst for driving investment, trade, and strategic\ncooperation that delivers tangible benefits for both countries,\u201d said\nRosan.<\/p>\n<p>The launch was witnessed by President Prabowo Subianto and French\nPresident Emmanuel Macron.<\/p>\n<p>The forum brought together 30 leading Indonesian and French company\nexecutives and industry leaders with a combined market capitalisation of\n$1.3 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>The council is co-chaired by Antoine de Saint-Affrique, CEO of Danone\nand Chair of France-Indonesia Business Council MEDEF International, and\nAnindya Bakrie, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and\nIndustry (KADIN).<\/p>\n<p>Rosan noted that French business confidence in Indonesia continues to\ngrow as the country positions itself as a strategic partner with\nlong-term growth prospects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrench businesses\u2019 confidence in Indonesia is rising. The agreements\nreached demonstrate that Indonesia is viewed as a strategic partner with\nstrong long-term growth potential and an increasingly competitive\ninvestment climate,\u201d Rosan said.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, the Indonesia-France Business Council aims to triple\nbilateral trade value by 2035 through enhanced cooperation between KADIN\nand Mouvement des Entreprises de France International.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo Subianto returned to Indonesia on Saturday (30 May)\nafter concluding his official visit to France.<\/p>\n<p>His arrival at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta was\ngreeted by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defence Minister\nSjafrie Sjamsoeddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo,\nand Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Tandyo Budi\nRevita.<\/p>",
