        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto has distributed 1,098 sacrificial cattle\nfor Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriyah (2026), funded through the presidential\nsocial assistance budget from the national budget.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Minister of the State Secretariat Juri Ardiantoro told\nreporters at the Presidential Palace Complex in Central Jakarta on\nTuesday, 26 May 2026: \u201cThe funding comes from the national budget via\nthe presidential social assistance budget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He explained the government allocated approximately Rp100 billion for\nthe 1,098 cattle, with prices varying based on weight and location. \u201cThe\nprice of cattle varies according to their weight and regional\ndifferences, so we adjust the price per region. The total expenditure is\naround Rp100 billion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>One Simmental bull weighing 1.3 tonnes was sent to Istiqlal Mosque in\nCentral Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 598 cattle will be distributed to 38 provinces and 514\nregencies\/cities. Ardiantoro noted that 46 regions lack cattle meeting\nthe presidential weight standard of 800kg to 1.3 tonnes, hence some\nareas receive two cattle. \u201cAll provinces and regencies will receive 598\ncattle,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, 500 cattle were allocated to educational institutions,\nIslamic boarding schools (pesantren), religious leaders and community\nfigures. \u201cFor the regions, 598 cattle; for social and religious\ninstitutions, 500 cattle.
