        "content": "<p>Prabowo Says He Welcomes Complaints from Japanese Business\nLeaders<\/p>\n<p>Reporter<\/p>\n<p>March 31, 2026 | 01:04 pm<\/p>\n<p>TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto told Japanese business\nleaders to report any problems directly to him during the\nJapan-Indonesia Business Forum in Tokyo on Monday, March 30, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo expressed Indonesia\u2019s commitment to safeguarding investors.\n\u201cIf you have any problems, you can directly complain to me,\u201d said\nPrabowo in Tokyo on Monday, as reported by the Presidential\nSecretariat.<\/p>\n<p>According to Prabowo, Japanese business leaders can report to him\nthrough ambassadors or representatives. \u201cI\u2019m willing to receive\ncomplaints,\u201d said the Gerindra Party boss.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo also mentioned that the government has formed a task force\nresponsible for removing investment barriers, known as the\n\u201cde-bottlenecking task force.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This task force handles business issues, including administrative\ndelays and practices that are detrimental to investors.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo stated that any company, whether foreign or domestic, can\nreport to this task force. \u201c[Companies] that feel they are facing\ndelays, administrative hurdle, or are being exploited or harassed can go\ndirectly to this de-bottlenecking task force,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Prabowo emphasized his government\u2019s commitment to\nmaintaining foreign investor confidence. He boasted Indonesia\u2019s\nreputation for never defaulting on debt throughout history.<\/p>\n<p>According to Prabowo, this reputation is Indonesia\u2019s asset for\nattracting investments amid global uncertainty. \u201cOur reputation is very\nclear, not just for 5, 10, or 15 years,\u201d he said, adding that \u201cnot once\nin the history of Indonesia have we ever defaulted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The business forum event with President Prabowo in Tokyo was\nco-hosted by by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO),\nKeidanren, the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and\nthe Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).<\/p>\n<p>Before attending the business forum, Prabowo visited the Imperial\nPalace of Japan. He met with Japanese Emperor Naruhito and his crown\nprince, Fumihito, at the palace located in Tokyo.
