A warm welcome from the students of Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama\n(SRMP) 17 Tabanan, Bali, accompanied the arrival of President Prabowo on\nSunday (7\/6). Among the various performances presented by the students\nof SRMP 17 Tabanan, one particular performance stood out as a hallmark\nof the Island of the Gods.<\/p>\n
Sixteen students from SRMP 17 Tabanan performed the Kecak Dance.\nDressed in poleng cloth and complete traditional accessories, they\nperformed the dance with great skill and enthusiasm. The performance\nbrought a smile to Prabowo\u2019s face. Following the performance, the\nPresident was seen shaking hands with each of the Kecak dancers\nindividually, expressing his gratitude for their spirited display.<\/p>\n

One of the Kecak dancers, Gusti Alit Widya Putra, who has Down\nSyndrome, performed with as much confidence as his peers. Upon seeing\nGusti Alit\u2019s performance, Prabowo smiled, patted his shoulder, and\nexpressed his thanks.<\/p>\n
It is noted that SRMP 17 Tabanan, like other Sekolah Rakyat\ninstitutions, provides equal opportunities for children falling within\nthe first and second deciles of the DTKS (Integrated Social Welfare\nData). Opportunities for self-development, both through academic and\nnon-academic pathways, are widely available to all students without\ndiscrimination.
