According to Prabowo, anyone can be\nsubject to ridicule or bullying, even a president.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo shared his personal experiences of facing such insults during\na visit to the Tabanan 17 Junior High School (SRMP) in Bali on Sunday, 7\nJune 2026. \u201cFar from you, I am often mocked; even now, as president, I\nam frequently ridiculed. It is alright, as long as your heart is\nsteadfast and your heart is good,\u201d Prabowo stated in Bali, as broadcast\nvia the Presidential Secretariat\u2019s YouTube account.<\/p>\n<p>For the former Minister of Defence during President Joko Widodo\u2019s\nera, the appropriate response to insults is to reply with politeness.\n\u201cThe more you are insulted, the more steadfast, brave, and polite you\nshould become. Do not be disheartened,\u201d Prabowo\nremarked.<\/p>\n<p>This message was delivered after Prabowo heard the story of a student\nat SRMP 17 Tabanan, Gede Bagus Abimanyu, who admitted to being\nfrequently teased by classmates during primary school.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, Prabowo also conveyed that economic difficulties\nare not an obstacle to success.
