        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto has stated that the government will\nrenovate between 350 and 400 hospitals across all regencies in\nIndonesia. This process is intended to be accelerated within a\nthree-year timeframe.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo made these remarks during his keynote address at the\ninauguration of the KH Muhammad Thohir Regional General Hospital (RSUD)\nin Krui, West Pesisir Regency, Lampung, on Wednesday, 10 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have planned with the Minister of Health and the government that\nin the next three years, we will build new facilities where necessary,\nand where possible, repair and renovate 350 to 400 hospitals across all\nregencies in Indonesia,\u201d Prabowo said in his speech.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Prabowo mentioned that the government also plans to\nmodernise 10,000 community health centres (Puskesmas) throughout\nIndonesia. \u201cWe will also improve and modernise 10,000 Puskesmas across\nthe country. This has already been planned,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the government is currently implementing a national\nhealthcare service modernisation programme. According to Prabowo, 1,000\nunits of modern medical equipment have already been distributed to\nregional hospitals across 514 regencies and cities.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo also reported that 22 regional general hospitals (RSUD) were\nconstructed in 2025, with the government targeting the construction of\nanother 22 RSUDs in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the newly inaugurated KH Muhammad Thohir Hospital, Prabowo\nexpressed his hope that the facility would serve the community\neffectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI urge that this hospital be managed well, its cleanliness\nmaintained, and that it operates with professional, transparent\nmanagement oriented towards serving the people. The community must feel\nthe real benefits of this hospital\u2019s presence,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
