According to an official statement from the Thai Royal Government, PM\nAnutin\u2019s delegation departed from Bangkok for Jakarta on Monday, 3\nAugust 2026, midday local time.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt 12:30 pm (local time), the prime minister and interior minister,\ntogether with his delegation, will depart from Military Airport 2, Wing\n6 Don Mueang, Bangkok, for Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta for an\nofficial visit to the Republic of Indonesia on 3-4 August 2026,\u201d the\nThai Royal Government\u2019s official website stated.<\/p>\n
PM Anutin is scheduled to arrive at the Merdeka Palace at around\n3.30pm WIB (Western Indonesia Time) and will be welcomed personally by\nPresident Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n
During the bilateral meeting, President Prabowo and PM Anutin will\ndiscuss strengthening cooperation across strategic sectors of shared\ninterest to both countries.<\/p>\n
Key issues on the agenda include security cooperation, combating\ntransnational crime, trade and investment, food and energy resilience,\npeople-to-people relations, and reinforcing ASEAN\u2019s role in addressing\nregional challenges.<\/p>\n
The centrepiece of the meeting will be the announcement of the\nIndonesia-Thailand Strategic Partnership Roadmap 2026-2030, which will\nserve as the framework for bilateral cooperation over the next five\nyears. The document is expected to lay the foundation for enhanced\ncollaboration in the economic, security and regional development\nspheres.<\/p>\n
In addition to meeting President Prabowo, PM Anutin is also scheduled\nto open the Thailand-Indonesia Business Forum, bringing together\nbusiness figures from both countries to promote increased trade and\ninvestment.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, while in Jakarta, Anutin will deliver a speech at the\nASEAN Secretariat on the future of ASEAN, which is expected to highlight\nthe direction of regional cooperation amid shifting geopolitical and\nglobal economic dynamics.<\/p>\n
