The ceremony is centred in\nCilacap, Central Java, specifically at Pertamina\u2019s oil refinery\ndevelopment project.<\/p>\n<p>This step forms part of the government\u2019s strategy to accelerate\nresource-based industrialisation, aiming to increase value added and\nstrengthen national energy resilience.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the SOE Ministry and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, revealed\nthat the President will attend the groundbreaking site for the gasoline\nrefinery construction in Cilacap, Central Java. This initiative supports\nthe national energy resilience programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe construction of the refinery in Cilacap and Dumai is expected to\nreduce reliance on gasoline imports and strengthen Indonesia\u2019s energy\nindependence,\u201d he wrote on his Instagram social media account, quoted on\nWednesday (29\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>One key agenda is the groundbreaking of Phase 2 Downstream Coal\nProject to produce Dimethyl Ether (DME) in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra.\nThis project is initiated by BPI Danantara and executed by MIND ID along\nwith PT Bukit Asam Tbk, Pertamina, and other strategic partners.<\/p>\n<p>The DME project is anticipated to serve as a substitute for imported\nLPG.
