        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto stated this during a speech at SMAN 1\nCilacap, Donan Village, Cilacap, Central Java, on Wednesday (29\/4\/2026).\nPrabowo initially revealed that the purpose of his visit was to check\nthe smooth implementation of the school revitalisation programme. \u201cI\ncame to see the school improvements. Alhamdulillah, we are repairing the\nschools, and we will repair all schools throughout Indonesia,\u201d said\nPrabowo. He explained that in Central Java, 1,500 high schools have\nalready begun repairs since last year\u2019s budget, which covered 17,000\nschools nationwide. This year, he has budgeted for improvements to\n70,000 schools. \u201cIn Central Java, there are 1,500 high schools, and we\nhave started repairing them, sir. Last year, we budgeted for around\n17,000 schools across Indonesia, but for the 2026 budget, we will repair\n70,000 schools throughout Indonesia,\u201d he stated. He then reaffirmed his\ncommitment to continue efforts to improve schools, with a target for the\nentire programme to be completed by the end of 2028. \u201cIn the coming\nyears, I will strive hard for at least an additional 100,000 schools.\nSo, I calculate that by the end of 2028, all schools in Indonesia will\nhave been repaired,\u201d he said.
