President Prabowo Subianto asked three commanders on duty during the\nRed and White Flag-Lowering Ceremony for the 81st Anniversary of\nIndonesian Independence to report to him at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on\nMonday (17\/8).<\/p>\n
The request was made by Prabowo after receiving a report from the\nCeremony Commander, Senior Commissioner Jerrold Hendra Yosef Kumontoy,\nthat the ceremony proceedings had been completed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you for the orderly and solemn execution of the ceremony.\nCeremony commander, corps of drums commander, and all unit commanders\nreport to me. Continue,\u201d said Prabowo.<\/p>\n
The Red and White Flag-Lowering Ceremony began at approximately 4:40\np.m. Western Indonesia Time. Prabowo acted as the ceremony inspector and\nled the procession, which was attended by the flag-raising troop, a\nnumber of state officials, and invited guests.<\/p>\n
The ceremony concluded after the Paskibraka Team Indonesia Adil\nMakmur successfully lowered the Red and White Flag.<\/p>\n
Senior Commissioner Jerrold Hendra Yosef Kumontoy served as the\nceremony commander. Meanwhile, Neeltje Deliana Insjowi Werimon from\nPapua was selected as the tray bearer in the flag-lowering\nprocession.<\/p>\n
After being lowered, the Red and White Flag was handed by Neeltje to\nPrabowo as the ceremony inspector.
