Successful\norganizations, communities, and countries are those that have the\ncourage to identify their difficulties and shortcomings, and then\naddress them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, Prabowo also emphasized the importance of\nsafeguarding academic freedom on university campuses. He said\ndifferences of opinion are a natural part of higher education, as long\nas they contribute to ideas and innovations that benefit society.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed hope that universities would continue advancing science\nand technology for the public good. Prabowo also reminded educators that\nboth public and private educational institutions benefit from various\nforms of government support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUniversities should continue advancing science and technology for\nthe benefit of the people, who ultimately support all educational\ninstitutions. The private sector also plays an important role, but it\nlikewise benefits from government support, including electricity and\nfuel subsidies.
