During the meeting, he stressed that data sovereignty\nwas an important foundation for maintaining national unity amid the\nrapid spread of digitalisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr President stressed that data sovereignty is an important\nfoundation for maintaining national unity amid the current of\ndigitalisation,\u201d the Cabinet Secretariat said in a post on its social\nmedia account, <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"sekretariat.kabinet\">@sekretariat.kabinet<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The strengthening of national data governance through the drafting of\nthe One Data Indonesia Bill was discussed with representatives of the\nHouse of Representatives (DPR), academics, and relevant ministries and\nagencies. The post said national data integration was expected to\nsupport more accurate public services while strengthening security in\ninformation exchange.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cData integration is expected to support more accurate public\nservices, as well as strengthen the security of information exchange and\ncyber resilience,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The bill is also intended to establish integrated, secure and\naccountable national data governance.
