        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that he is considering a\nspecial vehicle design to facilitate easier interaction with the public\nduring regional visits. This was stated by Prabowo during the\ninauguration of ,1061 Merah Putih Village\/Sub-district Cooperatives in\nNganjuk, East Java. According to him, the enthusiasm of the crowds\nlining the streets during visits makes him reluctant to remain solely\ninside a closed vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo many people come out to the streets, yet the President remains\ninside a vehicle. It wouldn\u2019t be right,\u201d said Prabowo, as quoted from a\nPresidential Secretariat YouTube broadcast on Monday (18\/5\/2026). \u201cOur\npeople want to shake hands, so why shouldn\u2019t we shake hands?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, Prabowo admitted he is contemplating a special vehicle\nthat would allow him to remain visible to the public during working\nvisits. He has even requested PT Pindad to prepare a design for such a\nvehicle. \u201cI am currently thinking about asking Pindad to design a\nspecial vehicle for the President using glass, featuring seats but\nallowing me to be seen standing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Prabowo utilises the MV3 Garuda Limousine presidential\nvehicle manufactured by PT Pindad. This vehicle is the latest\ndevelopment of the MV3 platform, designed as both a tactical vehicle and\nan official vehicle for the Head of State. In terms of dimensions, the\nMV3 Garuda Limousine is approximately 5 metres long and weighs nearly 3\ntonnes. The vehicle is equipped with a 199 hp diesel engine paired with\nan eight-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>",
