President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that he recently received\nreports regarding various irregularities and indications of\nmisappropriation in the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG)\nprogramme, which is managed through the National Nutrition Agency\n(BGN).<\/p>\n
In response to these reports, Prabowo stated that he immediately\nsummoned several relevant officials, including the Head of the Financial\nand Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Head of the Financial\nTransaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK). This was disclosed\nduring the \u2018Building Indonesia\u2019s Future Generations Through Nutrition\u2019\nevent held at the Sentul International Convention Centre (SICC), Bogor\nRegency, West Java, on Wednesday (3\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cI have indeed received reports for some time now regarding\ndeficiencies, irregularities, and indications of misappropriation from\nleadership,\u201d said Prabowo.<\/p>\n
Prabowo emphasised that leadership plays a critical role in\ninfluencing the work culture and the success of an organisation. \u201cA good\nleader results in a good organisation. A bad leader results in a bad\norganisation, especially if the leader is improper, incompetent, or\ndishonest,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Prabability recounted that upon receiving the reports, he immediately\nsummoned the Head of BPKP, Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, and the Head of PPATK,\nIvan Yustiavandana, along with several other officials. He instructed\nthem by saying: \u201cPlease, I have received reports regarding the BGN. This\nBGN programme is extremely important for the nation and the state,\ninvolving our people who are in need of affirmative and supportive\nassistance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prabowo noted that the MBG programme is widely utilised by developed\nnations to reduce poverty, specifically to improve the nutrition of\nchildren who represent the nation\u2019s future generations. He asserted that\nif the programme succeeds, it will trigger significant economic\nprogress.
