President Prabowo Subianto received the Hajj Supervisory Team (Timwas\nHaji) and several ministers, including Minister of Hajj Mochamad Irfan\nYusuf and Deputy Minister of Hajj Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, at his\nprivate residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday afternoon.\nDuring the meeting, President Prabowo was presented with a report on the\nimplementation of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi stated that the President had\nfulfilled a request from Commission VIII, the Hajj Supervisory Team, and\nthe Ministry of Hajj to report on the 2026 Hajj operations. Deputy\nMinister Dahnil explained that President Prabowo wished to hear the\nresults of evaluations and improvements made during the pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
\"There are around 20 improvement points we have made, and these will\nbe conveyed to the President. The President\u2019s note is that the dream of\nthe majority of Muslims must be executed well, and today we want to\nreport on the Hajj implementation,\" Dahnil said.<\/p>\n
Speaking separately in Malang, East Java, Dahnil elaborated that the\nMinistry of Hajj and Umrah had gathered several notes for evaluation,\nincluding the mobilisation of pilgrims in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina\n(Armuzna) and the health eligibility (istitha\u2019ah) policy. He\nacknowledged that the health eligibility policy remained a critical note\nbecause the mortality rate among pilgrims, particularly from East Java,\nwas still high despite a decline from the previous year.<\/p>\n
