        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2014 President Prabowo Subianto received the Joint Team\nfor Drafting the One Data Indonesia Bill to discuss strengthening\nintegrated, secure and accountable national data governance in order to\nsafeguard Indonesia\u2019s sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was held at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on\nThursday and involved members of the House of Representatives (DPR),\nacademics, and relevant ministries and agencies, Cabinet Secretary Teddy\nIndra Wijaya said in a post on the official <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"sekretariat.kabinet\">@sekretariat.kabinet<\/span> Instagram\naccount, cited in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the President stressed that data sovereignty is\nan important foundation for preserving national unity amid the\naccelerating digitalisation of society.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Cabinet Secretariat, data integration is expected to\nsupport more accurate public services, strengthen the security of\ninformation exchange and bolster cyber resilience.<\/p>\n<p>The drafting of the One Data Indonesia Bill is part of efforts to\nstrengthen national data governance and ensure that data is used to\nimprove the quality of public services.<\/p>\n<p>The House leadership was represented at the meeting by two deputy\nspeakers, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal.<\/p>\n<p>Also attending were House Legislative Body (Baleg) chair Bob Hasan,\nHouse Commission XIII member Rieke Diah Pitaloka, and head of the\nHouse\u2019s Expertise Agency, Professor Dr Bayu Dwi Anggono.<\/p>\n<p>The government was represented by Teni Widuriyanti, Secretary of the\nMinistry of National Development Planning (PPN)\/National Development\nPlanning Agency (Bappenas), while academia was represented by Professor\nDr Sofyan Sjaf, dean of IPB University\u2019s Faculty of Social and Human\nEcology (FISEMA).<\/p>",
