        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto has again affirmed his plan to award state\nhonours to the leadership of Danantara. The highest distinction is\nintended as a form of appreciation for outstanding achievements in\ntransforming and improving the performance of state-owned enterprises\n(BUMN).<\/p>\n<p>The statement was delivered by the President while inaugurating the\n100 GWp Solar Power Plant Programme in Jembrana Regency, Bali, on\nTuesday (25\/8\/2026). In his remarks, the Head of State assessed\nDanantara\u2019s performance over less than two years as an achievement that\nmakes the nation proud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs an example, Danantara\u2019s achievements are, in my view, a source of\npride. I believe Danantara\u2019s leadership deserves to receive a State\nHonour,\u201d said President Prabowo.<\/p>\n<p>The President highlighted the drastic change in the financial\ncondition of a number of state-owned companies. BUMNs that had suffered\nlosses for over a decade or even decades are now beginning to record\nprofits under Danantara\u2019s coordination.<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, the income growth achieved has exceeded\nthe government\u2019s expectations. He stressed that this success cannot be\nseparated from strong leadership and a deep love for the homeland on the\npart of Danantara\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn less than two years, Danantara\u2019s income and the income of BUMNs\nhave risen by hundreds of percent. Several BUMNs that had been losing\nmoney for over a decade or decades are now beginning to turn a profit.\nThe increases are sometimes beyond what we could have predicted,\u201d\nPrabowo asserted.<\/p>\n<p>The plan to grant the award has also received support from academics.\nProfessor Dr.\u00a0Marihot Manullang, a Professor at the Faculty of Economics\nand Business at Lancang Kuning University (Unilak) in Pekanbaru,\nconsiders the President\u2019s move to be appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>According to Professor Marihot, this appreciation sends a strong\nmessage that the management of state assets must be carried out\ntransparently and oriented towards national interests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe support it.
