        "content": "<p>He noted that a significant portion of profits generated from\nIndonesia\u2019s natural resources has flowed overseas rather than fully\nbenefiting the Indonesian people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor too long, some of the profits from natural resources have flowed\nabroad and have not remained in the country. Therefore, we decided to\nimplement a single-channel policy for natural resource exports,\u201d he said\nduring his speech at the 2026 Pancasila Day commemoration in Jakarta on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the government established PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia\n(DSI) to manage and supervise export transactions involving strategic\nnatural resource commodities, initially focusing on coal, crude palm oil\n(CPO), and ferroalloys.<\/p>\n<p>The head of state also emphasized the importance of large-scale\ninvestment in downstream industrialization to increase the added value\nof natural resources.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the government aims to strengthen the management of export\nforeign exchange earnings to ensure that the benefits of the nation\u2019s\nnatural wealth reach a broader segment of the population, he added<\/p>\n<p>He further stated that Indonesia\u2019s economic development must remain\nrooted in the values of Pancasila, including the principle of an\negalitarian economy oriented toward the interests of the people.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo believes that the direction of national economic development\nhas been clearly outlined by the nation\u2019s founders through Article 33 of\nthe 1945 Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian economy must be organized as a collective endeavor\nbased on the principle of kinship. Therefore, strengthening cooperatives\nremains a key government agenda to improve welfare and reduce poverty,\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCooperatives must be strengthened to help our people overcome\npoverty and powerlessness.
