        "content": "<p>Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI),\nSufmi Dasco Ahmad, has stated that the DPR RI has received a\nPresidential Letter (Surpres) regarding the candidate for Chief\nExecutive of Strategic Mineral and Commodities Exchange Supervision on\nthe Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority\n(OJK).<\/p>\n<p>He made the announcement during the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the DPR RI\nfor Session Period I of the 2026-2027 Sitting Year at the parliamentary\ncomplex in Jakarta on Tuesday, 18 August 2026. The presidential letter\nsent to the DPR is numbered R-38.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDated 10 August 2026, regarding the Candidate for Chief Executive of\nStrategic Mineral and Commodities Exchange Supervision on the Board of\nCommissioners of the Financial Services Authority,\u201d said Dasco.<\/p>\n<p>However, he has not yet announced the name of the candidate who will\nlead the Strategic Mineral and Commodities Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, he also revealed that the DPR RI received Presidential\nLetter Number R-33 on 14 July 2026, concerning a request for DPR RI\napproval for the sale of state property, namely one decommissioned\nvessel, the Republic of Indonesia Warship (KRI) Ki Hajar Dewantara.<\/p>\n<p>He further conveyed that the DPR RI has received a presidential\nletter regarding candidates to replace the Governor of Bank Indonesia\n(BI), the Senior Deputy Governor of BI, and the Deputy Governor of BI.\nRegarding the BI leadership, this matter had previously been announced\nby Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.<\/p>\n<p>Dasco stated that these letters have been and will be followed up in\naccordance with the applicable mechanisms, provisions, and laws and\nregulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will be followed up in accordance with DPR RI Regulation Number\n1 of 2020 concerning the Rules of Procedure and applicable mechanisms,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>",
