President Prabowo Subianto has guaranteed that victims of the\ncollision between the KA Argo Bromo Anggrek and a KRL train will receive\ncompensation. The incident, which occurred on Monday, 27 April 2026, has\nso far recorded 14 fatalities and 84 injuries.<\/p>\n
According to Prabowo, every victim will receive compensation, though\nthe amount has not yet been specified. \u201cThere will be, everyone will get\ncompensation,\u201d said the Chairman of the Gerindra Party while visiting\nthe accident victims at Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Regional General Hospital\n(RSUD) in Bekasi City, West Java, on Tuesday morning, 28 April 2026, as\nquoted from the Presidential Secretariat\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n
Prabowo also conveyed condolences to the victims. \u201cWe will soon\nconduct an investigation into how the incident happened,\u201d said the\nformer Minister of Defence.<\/p>\n

The incident began when the KRL train was stopped on track 1 at\nBekasi Timur Station. The train was stopped due to a disruption ahead of\nthem from the opposite direction, where there was a collision between a\ntrain and a taxi.<\/p>\n
