Jakarta \u2014 President Prabowo Subianto conveyed his appreciation to all\nparties involved in disaster management across various regions,\nincluding task force units and field personnel who have worked\ntirelessly and devoted themselves to assisting affected communities.<\/p>\n
This was stated by Prabowo during the opening of a cabinet session at\nthe State Palace in Jakarta on Friday. He said the government continues\nto monitor the situation in several disaster-affected areas that are\nstill in the recovery phase.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, we are holding this cabinet session at a time when many\nof our brothers and sisters are just recovering from the various\ndisasters we have faced. I also thank you for the hard work of all\nparties,\u201d Prabowo said.<\/p>\n
The President cited one example of accelerated post-disaster recovery\nefforts undertaken by the task force through bridge construction. He\nnoted that 218 bridges had been successfully built within approximately\ntwo and a half months.<\/p>\n
According to Prabowo, this achievement demonstrates the government\u2019s\nswift and responsive action in ensuring that access for\ndisaster-affected communities can be quickly restored.<\/p>\n
\u201c218 bridges in 2.5 months shows a quick reaction, responsiveness,\nnot only the presence of government but all parties, especially in\nrehabilitation and reconstruction in disaster areas,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
He added that rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in disaster\nareas also demonstrate the readiness and hard work of various government\nunits and field personnel.<\/p>\n
Prabowo assessed that personnel not only worked intensively on a\nphysical level, but also demonstrated great sacrifice in carrying out\nhumanitarian duties.<\/p>\n
