        "content": "<p>President Prabowo Subianto has launched the \u201cPalace for\nSchoolchildren\u201d programme. The programme opens opportunities for\nschoolchildren to visit the Presidential Palace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday we open the Palace for schoolchildren for the nation\u2019s future\ngenerations,\u201d said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya after the visit\nof SMKN 19 Jakarta to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday\n(7\/4).<\/p>\n<p>Teddy described the policy as the government\u2019s commitment to\nstrengthening the quality of human resources (HR).<\/p>\n<p>He stated that this goal is also reflected in other government\nprogrammes such as nutritious meals, school renovations, provision of\neducational facilities, and improvements in teacher welfare.<\/p>\n<p>Through this activity, students are invited to participate in\ndiscussions and question-and-answer sessions as well as tour the Palace\nto learn about the nation\u2019s history and government system.<\/p>\n<p>The students will also be taken to see various important rooms in the\nPalace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe invite them to see the places where major national decisions have\nbeen made,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Teddy also conveyed that this programme is not limited to Merdeka\nPalace and State Palace, but will be expanded to all Presidential\nPalaces in various regions of Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have eight, so each Palace will be opened for schoolchildren as\nwell. For those outside Jakarta or even outside Java, they will be\nfacilitated to come here,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Schools from various regions, including those outside Java, will be\nfacilitated to participate in this activity.<\/p>\n<p>He also encouraged schools wishing to join the \u201cPalace for\nSchoolchildren\u201d programme to register with the Ministry of State\nSecretariat or the Cabinet Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no selection for it.
