Prabowo\nsaid his government\u2019s task is to transform the economy guided by\nPancasila principles. \u2018My historic task as the eighth President of\nIndonesia is to transform the nation, particularly our national economy.\nTransforming from an economy not fully based on Pancasila to one truly\nrooted in Pancasila,\u2019 Prabowo stated in his speech at the Pancasila\nBuilding, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu), Jakarta, on Monday, 1\nJune 2026. Second, a humane economy that strengthens national unity,\nwhere Indonesia\u2019s wealth must be managed for the people\u2019s prosperity.\n\u2018Economic development must not merely produce statistical figures. It\nmust deliver a better life for all Indonesians,\u2019 Prabowo said. Third,\nthe economy must prioritise national and public interests, not just\nbenefiting a select few. Therefore, the government has established a\ncommodity export agency, PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). The\nagency\u2019s formation stems from Indonesia\u2019s natural wealth having been\nlong controlled by foreign entities and nations. Prabowo noted that most\nprofits from natural resource sales flow overseas. \u2018Hence, the\ngovernment has implemented a one-stop export system for natural\nresources,\u2019 he said. This is enshrined in Article 33 of the 1945\nConstitution, which mandates Indonesia\u2019s economy be structured on the\nprinciple of mutual cooperation. \u2018Therefore, cooperatives must be\nstrengthened, must rise up; they are a key tool to lift our people out\nof poverty and powerlessness,\u2019 Prabowo said. The final principle of\nPancasila economics, Prabowo stated, is social justice. \u2018This is the\ngoal of all our struggles. Economic growth must be accompanied by\nequitable distribution. Progress must be felt by all Indonesians,\u2019 he\nstressed.<\/p>",
