President Prabowo Subianto was unable to attend the Demokrat Party\u2019s\niftar held in the Tanah Abang area of Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 4\nMarch 2026. The Democratic Party\u2019s General Chairman Agus Harimurti\nYudhoyono said Prabowo was initially scheduled to attend, but he was\napparently not well.<\/p>\n
\u201cActually we did invite Mr President Prabowo Subianto who was\nsupposed to attend, but he is feeling unwell and of course we wish him a\nswift recovery,\u201d AHY said.<\/p>\n
In the event, the host also conveyed Prabowo\u2019s apologies. AHY said he\nunderstood Prabowo\u2019s condition, noting the President had just completed\na series of foreign trips and had a busy schedule.<\/p>\n

Therefore, according to AHY, President Prabowo has invited various\nnational figures to consider what has happened and what will happen.\nPrabowo had invited presidents, vice presidents, and former foreign\nministers as well as party leaders in parliament to discuss the current\nglobal situation.<\/p>\n
AHY said Indonesia must anticipate various worst-case scenarios\nregarding the impact of the US-Israel-Iran conflict. \u201cFor example, when\ntensions continue and spread in the Middle East, including the Strait of\nHormuz, which is a vital global energy route, this will have certain\nimpacts on our economy,\u201d the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure\nand Regional Development said.<\/p>\n
He added that Indonesia needs to ensure that conflicts among Gulf\nstates do not disrupt domestic energy and food security. \u201cAnd Indonesia\ncan still focus on development agendas including in the infrastructure\nsector,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
