President Prabowo Subianto has emphasised that relations between\nIndonesia and Malaysia are proceeding well. Prabowo requested that\nmatters with the potential to disrupt the relationship between the two\nnations should not be exaggerated into significant issues.<\/p>\n
This was stated by Prabowo following a meeting with Malaysian Deputy\nPrime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on\nFriday (18\/09\/2026). Prabowo confirmed that his meeting with Zahid\ndiscussed cooperation across several sectors.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also discussed other productive matters, including ideas for\ncooperation in the halal industry and other areas,\u201d said Prabowo.<\/p>\n
Given the extensive range of existing cooperation, he emphasised that\nthe relationship between Indonesia and Malaysia is functioning very\nwell, and therefore, there is no need to blow minor issues out of\nproportion.<\/p>\n
