President Prabowo Subianto spoke regarding individuals with high\nlevels of education who fail to recognise the injustices present in\nIndonesia. Prabowo expressed that he finds such a situation strange.<\/p>\n
Initially, Prabowo highlighted the motto of the Modern Darussalam\nGontor Islamic Boarding School. According to him, the motto aligns with\nthe values held by the Indonesian Military Academy (Akmil).<\/p>\n
\u201cHigh character, one must have high character, be honest, and be\nsincere; one must not become a corruptor, nor pretend to be high-minded,\npretend to be sincere, or pretend to be honest, only to steal once\nentrusted with an official position,\u201d Prabowo stated during his speech\nat the 100th-anniversary celebration of Pondok Gontor, East Java, on\nSaturday (19\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
He then addressed the second part of the motto, which concerns\nphysical health. He stated that the Indonesian people must grow up\nhealthy and free from hunger.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am determined that the children and the people of\nIndonesia\u2014because that is why I accepted the mandate from the Indonesian\npeople\u2014must not suffer from malnutrition, and no child should go to\nschool hungry. Because of this, I do not want there to be any hungry\npeople in Indonesia; in a fertile Indonesia with such vast wealth, no\none should go hungry on Indonesian soil,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Prabowo then read the third motto, which pertains to broad knowledge.\nHe asserted that Indonesian leaders must be well-informed.<\/p>\n
\u201cBroad knowledge, true; Indonesian leaders must be intelligent so\nthey are not deceived or fooled by others,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
He noted that there are individuals in Indonesia holding professorial\ntitles who instead defend foreign interests.<\/p>\n
