President Prabowo Subianto has admitted to feeling increasingly\nconfident as he approaches the second year of his administration. He\nstated that the government has achieved a number of significant\nsuccesses.<\/p>\n
Prabowo made these remarks while attending the 100th anniversary of\nPondok Modern Darussalam Gontor in Ponorogo, East Java, on Saturday\n(19\/09\/2026). Prabowo noted that his administration, alongside his\nsupporting coalition, will complete two years in office in less than a\nmonth.<\/p>\n
\u201cI now stand before the people of Indonesia, and I am more confident\nnow,\u201d said Prabowo.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy am I confident? Because I have not yet completed two years of\ncarrying out the mandate from the people. It has not been two years;\nthere are only a few weeks left. I believe it is less than a month until\nexactly two years,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Prabeway also expressed his gratitude for the support of his\ncoalition, noting that many alumni of Gontor are part of the government\ncoalition.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you for the support. I know Gontor must not engage in\npolitics. It is true that Gontor should not participate in practical\npolitics, but it must understand politics,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
According to him, the government has demonstrated several successes\nthat benefit the nation and the Indonesian people. Therefore, Prabowo\nclaimed to feel confident heading into his second year of\ngovernance.<\/p>\n
\u201cI say, I feel confident now because these two years, the government\nI lead is assisted by great people\u2014great ministers, great generals, and\ngreat governors,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have proven to the Indonesian nation that we have achieved real\nsuccesses that are fortunate and beneficial for the nation and the\nIndonesian people,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
Prabowo emphasised his desire to prove that the government does not\nmerely deliver promises. He stated that his administration is not merely\nabout empty talk.<\/p>\n
