Investment and Downstream Industries Minister\/BKPM Head Rosan\nRoeslani, together with fellow ministers and heads of economic sector\ninstitutions, held a discussion with President Prabowo Subianto\nfollowing the Indonesia Economic Outlook 2026 event at Wisma Danantara,\nJakarta, on Friday, 13 February 2026.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, President Prabowo directed the government to more\nactively conduct outreach and roadshows to stakeholders at the global\nlevel. This step was deemed important for conveying the various positive\npolicies and programmes currently being implemented by the Indonesian\ngovernment.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe continued with a discussion with the President. Indeed, if we\nlook at it, there are actually a great many policies that we have\nimplemented which are very positive. But we do need to reach out and\nconduct this outreach not only domestically but also internationally,\u201d\nsaid Rosan at a press conference at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta, on Friday,\n13 February 2026.<\/p>\n
He explained that the outreach targets encompass various parties at\nthe global level, including international rating agencies that have\nrecently been paying close attention to the state of Indonesia\u2019s\neconomy.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, to external parties including rating agencies and others.\nTherefore, the President has also conveyed that we should be more active\nin reaching out to them,\u201d said Rosan.<\/p>\n
According to Rosan, the government will establish a\ncross-institutional team involving the Coordinating Ministry for\nEconomic Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Financial Services\nAuthority (OJK), and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The team will\nregularly conduct roadshows to various international stakeholders.<\/p>\n
\u201cA team will also be formed, together with the Coordinating Minister,\nOJK, the Stock Exchange (BEI), and the Ministry of Finance, to conduct\nregular roadshows not only to rating agencies but also to other\nstakeholders outside Indonesia,\u201d said Rosan.<\/p>\n
He added that the roadshow activities aim to convey that Indonesia\ncontinues to carry out reforms in terms of policy, regulation, and\nvarious other aspects to strengthen the national investment climate.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo this is also to communicate that we continue to carry out reforms\nin policy, regulation, in order to \u2014 as was conveyed earlier by the\nFinance Minister \u2014 improve the investment climate in Indonesia,\u201d said\nRosan.<\/p>\n
Rosan assessed that there remain many positive policies that need to\nbe presented more broadly to the international community so that\nunderstanding of Indonesia\u2019s economic conditions becomes more\ncomprehensive.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo we will be even more active, because we have received a great\ndeal of input and feedback, as many of our policies are already\npositive, but they need to be more widely communicated to the outside\nworld,\u201d said Rosan.<\/p>\n
