Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Tuban\nRegency, East Java, on Saturday to attend a corn harvest event held\nsimultaneously on agricultural land managed by the Indonesian National\nPolice across various regions for the second quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n
President Prabowo, who departed from Nganjuk Regency for the\ninauguration of 1,061 Merah Putih Village\/Urban Cooperative (KDKMP)\nunits, was welcomed by the Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National\nPolice (Wakapolri), Police Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, and\nsenior officials from the National Police Headquarters.<\/p>\n
After that, President Prabowo, accompanied by the Chief of the\nIndonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the\nMinister of Agriculture, Andi Amran Sulaiman, received a report on the\ncorn agricultural land managed by the National Police.<\/p>\n
At the event location, President Prabowo also listened to a\npresentation on the use of special fertilizers and hybrid corn seeds\nused by the National Police in its managed agricultural areas.<\/p>\n
The harvest event in Tuban Regency is the third in President\nPrabowo\u2019s series of working visits in East Java. In Tuban, in addition\nto witnessing the harvest, the President also witnessed the\ngroundbreaking ceremony for 10 SPPG (Strategic Food Reserves) warehouses\nand the operational launch of 166 SPPG units managed by the National\nPolice.<\/p>\n
In the corn harvest event for the second quarter of 2026 on\nagricultural land managed by the National Police, 36 regional police\nforces are involved, with a total land area of 189,760.36 hectares. Of\nthis amount, 1,608.76 hectares of corn agricultural land were harvested\nsimultaneously today.<\/p>\n
The corn agricultural land managed by the East Java Regional Police\nis the largest in today\u2019s harvest event, covering an area of 650.56\nhectares, while the total area for the second quarter of 2026 is\n43,201.82 hectares.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the groundbreaking ceremony for 10 police-managed food\nsecurity warehouses has a capacity of 1,000 tons each. These warehouses\nare located in the regions of West Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatra (two\nunits), Bengkulu, Banten, West Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi (two\nunits), and North Maluku.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the 166 SPPG units of the National Police, launched in\nconjunction with the harvest event, are spread across the working areas\nof the Aceh Regional Police (two SPPGs), the Bali Regional Police (two\nSPPGs), the Banten Regional Police (39 SPPGs), and the Yogyakarta\nSpecial Region Police (two SPPGs).<\/p>\n
In addition, there are the Gorontalo Regional Police (one SPPG), the\nJambi Regional Police (six SPPGs), the West Java Regional Police (11\nSPPGs), the Central Java Regional Police (16 SPPGs), the East Java\nRegional Police (10 SPPGs), the West Kalimantan Regional Police (one\nSPPG), the South Kalimantan Regional Police (two SPPGs).<\/p>\n
Then, there are the Central Kalimantan Regional Police (nine SPPGs),\nthe Bangka Belitung Regional Police (one SPPG), the Riau Islands\nRegional Police (two SPPGs), the Lampung Regional Police (two SPPGs),\nthe North Maluku Regional Police (one SPPG), the Jakarta Metropolitan\nRegional Police (14 SPPGs), the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (one\nSPPG).<\/p>\n
