Jakarta, VIVA \u2013 President Prabowo Subianto has stated that, based on\nreports received from the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming\/Head\nof BKPM, Rosan Roeslani, Indonesia\u2019s 2025 investment realisation target\nhas already been achieved.<\/p>\n
He noted that the 2025 investment realisation was accomplished four\nmonths ahead of the year-end target.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have been given a report by the Minister of Investment that\nIndonesia\u2019s investment this month has already reached the target,\u201d\nPrabowo said on the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) YouTube channel,\nas quoted on Monday, 21 July 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have already reached the 2025 investment realisation target this\nAugust, four months before the end of the year,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n
However, Prabowo did not specify the exact figure of investment\nrealisation achieved up to August 2025.<\/p>\n
He added that this serves as evidence to counter the narrative that\nIndonesia is currently in a difficult and bleak situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are on the right path. The effort to make it seem as though\nIndonesia is in difficulty, that Indonesia is in the dark, that\nIndonesia\u2019s economy has failed \u2014 that is an attempt to dampen our\nspirits and it is not true,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The investment realisation report for the second quarter of 2025 had\npreviously been presented by Deputy Minister of Investment\/Deputy Head\nof BKPM, Todotua Pasaribu. Investment realisation in the second quarter\nof 2025 was recorded at Rp 475 trillion, higher than the first quarter\nof 2025 which stood at Rp 465 trillion.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first and second quarters of 2025 are already secure. Investment\nrealisation for Q1 2025 was released at Rp 465 trillion, and in Q2 2025\nwe have reached Rp 475 trillion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In 2024, Indonesia had previously set an investment target of Rp\n1,650 trillion, which was successfully achieved by the government.
