Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 President Prabowo Subianto has asked all\nministries to pursue deregulation to make investment easier while\nensuring the government\u2019s priority programmes continue to be\nimplemented, Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn regulatory matters, the President has once again stressed that\nall parts of the government, including every ministry, should deregulate\nto facilitate matters related to investment and other areas,\u201d Supratman\nsaid after attending a plenary cabinet meeting chaired by Prabowo at the\nPresidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Supratman said Prabowo gave the instruction in his address to the\nplenary cabinet meeting.<\/p>\n
\u201cEarlier, the President praised all the steps that the entire Red and\nWhite Cabinet has taken together,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
However, Supratman stressed that the ministries concerned must still\ncarry out priority programmes directly instructed by the President.<\/p>\n
\u201cNevertheless, priority programmes directed by the President remain\npriorities and must be implemented,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Earlier, at the plenary cabinet meeting, Prabowo praised the Red and\nWhite Cabinet for its hard work and unity during two years of\ngoverning.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe essence of this plenary meeting is that I want to express my\nthanks and appreciation to the entire Red and White Cabinet,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
