        "content": "<p>In his remarks delivered during the 11th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF)\nin Vladivostok, Russia, on Thursday (Sept 3), Prabowo reiterated\nIndonesia\u2019s commitment to immediately implement the FTA signed in\nDecember 2025 between Indonesia and EAEU members, which are Armenia,\nBelarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and the Eurasian Economic\nCommission.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia completed parliamentary approval of this FTA and last\nJuly, I signed the presidential regulation of ratification,\u201d the\npresident said.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo emphasised Indonesia wants the agreement in force and in use\nas soon as the exchange of notifications allows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI respectfully call on every EAEU member state to complete its\ninternal procedures, so that we can make use of this agreement as soon\nas possible,\u201d Prabowo added.<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Prabowo\u2019s diplomacy raises Indonesia\u2019s global profile:\nanalyst<\/p>\n<p>The president added the FTA is a south-south trade architecture that\nopens five markets to Indonesian producers and gives Eurasian producers\naccess to over 290 million Indonesian consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Through the FTA, Indonesia and the EAEU are committed to eliminating\nor reducing duties on 11,882 tariff lines or over 90 percent of all\ngoods being traded between the two sides, he remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo also highlighted Indonesian business delegations in\nVladivostok have concluded pilot shipments, name buyers, secure\nlogistics, and settle compliance and payment arrangements that make use\nof the FTA.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, Prabowo called for optimising partnership\nbetween the two countries\u2019 sovereign wealth funds, Danantara Indonesia\nand the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).<\/p>\n<p>He explained Danantara Indonesia, established with US$1 trillion of\nassets under its management, can serve as a bridge to connect capital\nmarkets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDanantara could act as a bridge where Russian and Indonesian capital\nmarkets and strategic goals could meet,\u201d Prabowo stated.<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Prabowo emphasizes RI\u2019s free and active foreign policy\nat EEF Rusia<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Prabowo pushes Danantara, Russia Fund to finance\nprojects<\/p>\n<p>Translator: Prisca Triferna V, Nabil Ihsan<\/p>",
