Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto gave a briefing to\n1,500 unit commanders (dansat) from the TNI\u2019s three branches during the\n2026 TNI Unit Commanders\u2019 Roll Call at the National Defence University\n(Unhan) campus in Bogor Regency, West Java, on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The Presidential Secretariat, in its official release confirmed in\nJakarta on Thursday evening, stated that the briefing was closed to\njournalists.<\/p>\n
It was explained that the briefing began with a report on activities\nfrom TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.<\/p>\n
The President\u2019s briefing session marked the climax of the roll call\nand was received with great enthusiasm by the TNI unit commanders.<\/p>\n
The unit commanders promptly sang struggle songs including \u201cMaju Tak\nGentar\u201d and \u201cGaruda Pancasila\u201d in unison to welcome President Prabowo\u2019s\narrival in the event hall.<\/p>\n
The lively atmosphere immediately turned solemn when the national\nanthem \u201cIndonesia Raya\u201d was played and sung together by all\nparticipants.<\/p>\n
Afterwards, the participants continued by singing the TNI March,\nfollowed by the marches of each branch, namely the Army (TNI Angkatan\nDarat), Navy (TNI Angkatan Laut), and Air Force (TNI Angkatan\nUdara).<\/p>\n
The moment when the unit commanders sang the TNI March and the branch\nmarches, according to the Presidential Secretariat, affirmed the spirit\nof solidarity and corps pride.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe event continued with a joint prayer as a form of hope for the\nsmooth execution of duties and TNI\u2019s service to the nation and state,\u201d\nstated the Presidential Secretariat\u2019s official release.<\/p>\n
From several photos shared by the Presidential Secretariat, President\nPrabowo was seen returning salutes to several unit commanders upon\narriving in the event hall. Before taking the podium to deliver the\nbriefing, President Prabowo also wrote a note and showed it to Defence\nMinister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.<\/p>\n
The briefing event was attended by TNI leadership from the highest\nlevels to unit command levels across Indonesia, starting from the chiefs\nof staff of the branches, main command commanders, to unit commanders at\nthe battalion commander level.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, cabinet ministers and other state officials were also\npresent and directly listened to President Prabowo\u2019s directives to the\nTNI unit commanders. The attending ministers included Defence Minister\nSjafrie, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs\nDjamari Chaniago, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga\nHartarto, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, and Minister of\nEnergy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.<\/p>\n
From the cabinet, there were also State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and\nCabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.<\/p>\n
The Presidential Secretariat, in its official release, explained that\nthe presence of the ministers and state officials \u201creflects the strong\nsynergy between the defence sector and government elements in\nsafeguarding national stability\u201d.<\/p>\n
After the briefing session, President Prabowo had lunch with all\nparticipants, namely the TNI unit commanders.<\/p>\n
