        "content": "<p>\u201cThe president has issued a directive to approve the three-year\npost-disaster recovery budget of Rp100.1 trillion, whose disbursement\nwill be divided into three phases,\u201d Home Minister and Sumatra Disaster\nRehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration Task Force Head Tito\nKarnavian stated here on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that Rp38.9 trillion (US$2.17 billion) will be disbursed\nin the first phase in 2026, while the second disbursement in 2027 will\nbe Rp32.9 trillion (US$1.84 billion), and Rp28.2 trillion (US$1.57\nbillion) in 2028.<\/p>\n<p>The budget will be distributed to 23 government ministries such as\nthe Public Works Ministry, Transportation Ministry, Agriculture\nMinistry, and Housing and Settlements Ministry, as well as 10 supporting\nagencies.<\/p>\n<p>Karnavian said that most of the responsible ministries and agencies\nhave applied for the recovery fund to the Finance Ministry, with five of\nthem having received the funds and begun implementing the rehabilitation\nand construction works according to their responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Finance Ministry is processing the application from other\nministries.
