        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Prabowo Subianto stated that all\nIndonesian citizens are shareholders of the nation\u2019s wealth and are\nentitled to enjoy the benefits of national assets.<\/p>\n<p>This statement was made by Prabowo during a speech at the\ninauguration of the Ibu Marsinah Museum and a transit home in Nganjuk\nRegency, East Java, on Saturday (16 May 2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to Prabowo, this concept aligns with the spirit of a family\nnation, as outlined in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo all entrepreneurs, I invite you to work together to create an\n\u2018Indonesia Incorporated\u2019. \u2018Indonesia Incorporated\u2019 essentially means a\nfamily nation,\u201d said Prabowo, as quoted from a YouTube broadcast by the\nPresidential Secretariat, Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>He said that all leaders at every level have a responsibility to\nfight for the people\u2019s rights to the nation\u2019s wealth.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo also reminded state officials not to collude and deprive the\ncommunity of their rights to national wealth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead, leaders and officials who are elected should not collude to\ndeprive the people of their rights to the wealth of all of Indonesia,\u201d\nPrabowo said.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, Prabowo also denied the notion that he rejected the\nfree market mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not against the free market mechanism, but I understand that\nthe free market can be misused,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, poor people cannot compete equally with large\ninvestors without government intervention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPoor people are asked to compete with these large investors, but\nthey cannot, it is impossible,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, Prabowo affirmed that the government must intervene to\nprotect the poor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, we are open.
