Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed Indonesia\u2019s\nposition in supporting the realisation of peace in Palestine through\nactive participation in the Board of Peace (BoP).<\/p>\n
The Presidential Media Team in Jakarta, in the early hours of Friday,\nstated that this step forms part of international diplomatic efforts to\npromote a sustainable peaceful solution.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will realise the dream of peace in Palestine, a sustainable\nsolution for Palestine and in Gaza,\u201d the Head of State said in\nWashington DC, United States, on Thursday (19\/2\/2026) local time.<\/p>\n
Before US President Donald Trump and other delegates at the inaugural\nBoP meeting, President Prabowo firmly conveyed that Indonesia\u2019s decision\nto participate in the BoP reflects the consistency of Indonesia\u2019s active\nstance in supporting the creation of world peace and achieving the\nfairest possible solution for the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, President Prabowo Subianto said he had studied the\n20 points of President Trump\u2019s proposals within the BoP and was\nconfident that peace in Palestine could be realised.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom day one, we studied President Trump\u2019s 20-point plan, we fully\nagree and we are fully committed to this plan, and that is why we joined\nthe Board of Peace,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Despite the various challenges in realising lasting peace in\nPalestine, President Prabowo expressed confidence that Palestinian peace\ncould be achieved collectively.<\/p>\n
