        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has affirmed that the\ngovernment will promptly conduct an investigation into the collision\nbetween the long-distance KA Argo Bromo Anggrek train and the KRL\nCommuter Line at Bekasi Timur Station, West Java, on Monday (27\/4)\nevening.<\/p>\n<p>The President made this statement after visiting the victims\ncurrently receiving treatment at RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid in\nBekasi, West Java, on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will soon carry out an investigation into how the incident\noccurred,\u201d said Prabowo, as monitored from the live YouTube broadcast of\nthe Presidential Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo stated that the investigation aims to determine the exact\ncause of the incident that resulted in casualties.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, President Prabowo conveyed his deepest condolences\nfor the fatalities in the incident and instructed that all injured\nvictims receive optimal treatment until they recover.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the government will conduct a thorough evaluation of\nthe railway safety system to prevent similar occurrences in the\nfuture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut in broad terms, we note that many railway tracks are unguarded.\nWe will address this immediately,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo assured that the victims are receiving the best medical care\nand provided moral support to the patients and affected families.<\/p>\n<p>The President also received direct reports from relevant officials on\nthe progress of post-incident victim handling. Meanwhile, 84 injured victims have\nreceived medical treatment at various healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Victim handling is being carried out at several healthcare\nfacilities, including RSUD Bekasi, RS Bella Bekasi, RS Primaya, RS Mitra\nPlumbon Cibitung, RS Bakti Kartini, RS Siloam Bekasi Timur, RS Hermina,\nas well as RS Mitra Keluarga Bekasi Timur and Barat.<\/p>\n<p>PT KAI has set up an Emergency Response Post and an Information Post\nat Bekasi Timur Station to assist families in obtaining information\nabout victims and passengers.
