        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto has acknowledged\nthat his leadership style tends towards being detail-oriented or a\n\u2018micromanager\u2019. He also stated that he often contacts his ministers at\nunusual times.<\/p>\n<p>This was revealed at the Japan-Indonesia Business Forum in Tokyo,\nJapan, on Monday (30\/3\/2026), attended by businesspeople from Indonesia\nand Japan, as well as representatives from both governments.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo said that he is a \u2018hands-on manager\u2019 or a leader who is\nactively involved directly in daily operations with his team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy ministers call me a micromanager. Yes, I admit, I am indeed a\nmicromanager,\u201d Prabowo said.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo stated that he can contact his ministers in the early hours,\naround 2:00-5:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time, to inquire about work,\nsuch as the prices of staple goods.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Prabowo admitted to starting to feel guilty about this\nleadership style.
