JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Endri (52), a member of the Bidara Cina Public\nInfrastructure and Facilities Management Unit (PPSU), Jatinegara, East\nJakarta, became the victim of an assault and stabbing at the Bidara Cina\nsub-district office on Thursday (14\/5\/2026) at 05:00 WIB.<\/p>\n
Endri said that just before the incident, he had finished sweeping\nJalan Otista Raya and was about to clock in at the sub-district\noffice.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was chatting with a colleague who was on duty. A young man entered\nthe sub-district office, and I told him, \u2018Please take off your sandals.\u2019\nThe floor had just been mopped, and I didn\u2019t want the people who had\ncleaned it to have their work undone,\u201d said Endri when met at his home\nin the Bidara Cina area on Friday (15\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
As a result of the incident, he suffered a wound to his right thigh,\nas well as bruises and swelling on his lips.<\/p>\n
\u201cI apologized, but he still hit me. He hit me once, twice, until I\nfell in front of the DKI ATM located at the sub-district office. After\nthat, he stabbed me. I just stayed silent. A lot of blood came out,\u201d\nsaid Endri.<\/p>\n
After being stabbed, Endri immediately went into the Satpol PP\n(Public Order Agency) room to avoid the perpetrator. At that time, the\nvictim immediately contacted his brother to ask for help.<\/p>\n
He said that the wounds he suffered were quite deep. In fact, medical\npersonnel said that his condition could have been fatal if it had not\nbeen treated promptly.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was taken to the Jatinegara sub-district office in a sub-district\nvehicle. There, they only gave me a bandage; they didn\u2019t dare to treat\nme. Then I was referred to RSCM,\u201d said Endri.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Jatinegara Police Chief, Kompol Samsono, confirmed the\nincident and said that the victim had filed a report.<\/p>\n
