        "content": "<p>PPP urged to clarify on QSAR<\/p>\n<p>SURABAYA, East Java: Executives of the East Java provincial<br>\nchapter of the United Development Party (PPP) urged the party's<br>\ncentral board on Monday to clarify the Rp 5 billion investment in<br>\ntroubled agribusiness company PT Qurnia Subur Alam Raya (QSAR).<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of PPP's East Java chapter Hafidz Ma'shoem said the<br>\ncentral board had to summon the party's deputy chairman, Tosari<br>\nWijaya, who admitted to having personally borrowed the money from<br>\nthe party and investing it in QSAR.<\/p>\n<p>\"If they do not call for the meeting, we demand the central<br>\nboard to hold a national meeting with all provincial chapters<br>\nwhere we can grill Tosari about the money,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The provincial chapter also demanded the central board to<br>\nimpose a tight mechanism for members who wish to borrow party<br>\nmoney.-- Antara<\/p>",
