The Musyawarah Wilayah (Muswil) of PPP's Central Sulawesi DPW held in Palu produced a formatur to draft the new DPW leadership, with attendance by the majority of DPCs despite some absences. Officials stressed the event's legitimacy, and the DPP PPP will issue the official SK after the formatur completes its task, as the party readies itself for future political schedules including the 2029 elections.

The Musyawarah Wilayah (Muswil) of the Dewan Pimpinan Wilayah (DPW)
Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) Sulawesi Tengah was held in Palu and
proceeded smoothly, with attendance from the majority of the Dewan
Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) across Central Sulawesi. The party’s General
Treasurer Imam Fauzan A Uskara rejected claims that the Muswil had been
cancelled or failed. ‘Alhamdulillah the Muswil was held. Claims that the
Muswil was cancelled or failed are untrue. Despite some dynamics, on 6
March 2026 the Muswil took place with attendance from the majority of
DPC chairmen across Central Sulawesi,’ Fauzan said on Saturday (7 March
2026). He explained that the Muswil forum ran safely and smoothly and
produced a formatur tasked with drafting the new DPW leadership for
Central Sulawesi. ‘We hope the formatur appointed will promptly complete
its duties. Subsequently, a new leadership, with its decision letter
(SK) issued by the DPP PPP, will be formed,’ Fauzan added. Meanwhile,
Sofansyah Yunan, chairman of the PPP Branch in Banggai Regency, asserted
that he and other DPCs agreed to hold the Muswil at the level of DPW PPP
Central Sulawesi based on the party’s constitutional mandate contained
in the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART). He noted that after
the Muktamar, each region is required to hold a Muswil within three
months. ‘The Muswil is a constitutional mandate and is legitimate,’ he
said. Similarly, Muh Saleh, chairman of the PPP DPC in Toili-Toli
Regency, emphasised that the Muswil was organisationally legitimate and
attended by the majority of DPCs in Central Sulawesi. He added that
after the Muswil, his region would immediately proceed with a
branch-level consolidation through a debriefing at the branch level.
‘Today’s event is a constitutional order to conduct the Muswil, thus
this forum is legitimate. Once the Muswil at the regional level is
complete, we will continue with branch-level deliberations as part of
preparations for upcoming political agendas, including the 2029
elections,’ Saleh said. With the Muswil now completed, PPP’s internal
consolidation in Central Sulawesi is expected to strengthen in facing
future organisational tasks, including structure realignment, cadre
strengthening, consolidation, and preparations for election verification
ahead of the 2029 elections. The Muswil was attended by a majority of
DPCs across Central Sulawesi, though some DPCs were absent due to the
death of their chairs or because their letters of decision had expired,
such as the Palu City PPP DPC. Nevertheless, the attendance of the
majority ensured that the Muswil was representative and conducted in
accordance with organisational provisions.
",
