JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Central Management of Gelora Bung Karno\nComplex (PPKGBK) is preparing for the management transfer of Hotel\nSultan located in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area, Senayan, Central\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
Legal Counsel for the State Secretary and PPKGBK, Kharis Sucipto,\nstated that various aspects are being prepared for the transfer\nprocess.<\/p>\n
\u201cVarious aspects are being prepared, including legal, technical,\nadministrative, and other necessary matters. Essentially, preparations\nhave been made to secure the state asset,\u201d Kharis told Kompas.com on\nWednesday (27 May 2026).<\/p>\n
Hotel Sultan is set to be evicted on Thursday (18 June 2026),\nfollowing a ruling by the Central Jakarta District Court regarding the\nclearance of Block 15 in the GBK area, formerly the Hotel Sultan\nsite.<\/p>\n
Kharis said that, based on information from the Central Jakarta\nDistrict Court, an Eviction Execution Notice dated 19 May 2026 has been\nsent to PT Indobuildco via registered mail.<\/p>\n
According to Kharis, the court\u2019s deadline is deemed sufficient for PT\nIndobuildco to voluntarily vacate the Block 15 GBK premises.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, PPKGBK as the new manager also has time to prepare\nthe transfer process to ensure it proceeds orderly, safely, and without\ndisrupting public interests.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith almost a month\u2019s gap, we hope Indobuildco will voluntarily\nvacate the premises. The court\u2019s notice also urges occupants or anyone\ngranted rights by Indobuildco to occupy or use the land and buildings to\nvacate voluntarily. This is crucial to prevent new issues during the\neviction execution,\u201d Kharis stated in an official release, cited on\nTuesday (26 May 2026).<\/p>\n
PT Indobuildco is a company owned by Pontjo Sutowo, which has been\nmanaging Hotel Sultan.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a final decision. The Central Jakarta District Court has set\n18 June 2026 as the date for the eviction execution of Block 15 GBK,\nformerly the Hotel Sultan area. Therefore, we urge all parties to\nrespect and support the execution to proceed smoothly,\u201d Kharis said.<\/p>\n
PPKGBK Director General Rakhmadi A. Kusumo stated that his office\nrespects the eviction execution date.<\/p>\n
He said the return of Block 15 GBK is a crucial opportunity to ensure\nstate assets are managed professionally, transparently, and benefit the\nnation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are grateful that this state asset will be professionally\nmanaged. The proceeds will return to the state and ultimately serve\npublic interests,\u201d Rakhmadi said.<\/p>\n
