        "content": "<p>Labuan Bajo, NTT - Saudi Arabian Hajj Organising Officers (PPIH) have\nprepared buggy car or golf cart facilities as well as special vehicles\nfor the disabled to welcome the arrival of Indonesian prospective hajj\npilgrims in the second wave at King Abdul Aziz International Airport,\nJeddah, starting Friday (8\/5).<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Jeddah Airport Working Area, Abdul Basir, explained\nthat the provision of these facilities resulted from coordination with\nthe Nusuk Marhaba party to provide extra comfort for prospective hajj\npilgrims, especially for elderly groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese facilities are prepared to support the movement of pilgrims.\nWe are also coordinating to provide special vehicles for the elderly and\ndisabled so that the transfer process at the airport is easier and\nfaster,\u201d he said in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that these preparations are important considering the\ndifferences in the arrival flow in Jeddah, where prospective hajj\npilgrims will be directly dispatched to Mecca to perform the obligatory\numrah.<\/p>\n<p>For that reason, prospective hajj pilgrims are asked to wear ihram\ncloth since at the dormitory or embarkation point. The use of ihram\ncloth from the home country is for time efficiency considering the tight\nmovement flow at the airport.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the weather conditions, Abdul reminded that the temperature\nin Jeddah is quite hot with higher humidity levels compared to Madinah,\nthus prone to causing pilgrims to sweat quickly and become\ndehydrated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPilgrims must always drink more, not waiting until thirsty to\ndrink,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Based on these conditions, PPIH has also prepared a primary-level\nhealth clinic in the airport area.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic functions as an observation room for prospective hajj\npilgrims who need initial medical treatment before continuing their\none-hour land journey to Mecca.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, he assured that overall service preparations have reached 90\npercent.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, they are just conducting final coordination with the Saudi\nMinistry of Hajj to ensure all supporting facilities for Indonesian\nprospective hajj pilgrims are fully operational on Friday (8\/5) at 06.30\nlocal time.<\/p>",
