A Parameter Politik Indonesia poll puts West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi first in a simulated 2029 vice-presidential race, with 21 per cent, ahead of incumbent Vice-President Gibran Rakabuming Raka on 14.2 per cent. The poll reflects respondents’ preferences when it was conducted, not a definitive forecast, and the figures could change as political dynamics and candidate selection develop.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The latest survey by Parameter Politik Indonesia
(PPI) shows Dedi Mulyadi leading a simulation of potential candidates’
electability for the vice-presidency in the 2029 presidential
election.

According to results presented by Executive Director Adi Prayitno at
the launch of the national survey, “Evaluation of Two Years of the
Prabowo-Gibran Administration”, in Jakarta on Sunday, the West Java
governor received an electability rating of 21 per cent, ahead of
Vice-President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who scored 14.2 per cent.

Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono followed with 7.1 per cent, and Anies
Baswedan with 7 per cent.

Other names in the vice-presidential race included Ganjar Pranowo, on
2.6 per cent; Teddy Indra Wijaya, on 1.4 per cent; and Muhaimin
Iskandar, on 0.9 per cent.

Kaesang Pangarep also received 0.9 per cent, followed by Susi
Pudjiastuti on 0.8 per cent, Anis Matta and Zulkifli Hasan on 0.7 per
cent each, and Bahlil Lahadalia on 0.5 per cent.

Andi Amran Sulaiman, Raffi Ahmad, Sudaryono, Erick Thohir, Emil
Dardak and Rieke Diah Pitaloka each received 0.1 per cent. A further 3.5
per cent of respondents chose other names, while 20.8 per cent did not
answer.

The results indicate that a public figure’s high level of recognition
does not necessarily place them at the top of a simulated
vice-presidential electability survey.

However, the survey represents respondents’ preferences at the time
it was conducted and is not a definitive prediction of the 2029 election
result. The figures could change as political developments and
candidate-selection dynamics unfold ahead of the election.
",
