PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (Persero), also known as PPA, has rolled\nout several Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental (TJSL)\nprogrammes throughout August 2026, ranging from health and education\nassistance to earthquake relief in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and the\npreservation of Javanese script. These programmes were implemented\nacross several regions, including Greater Jakarta, East Java, and\nNTT.<\/p>\n
PPA President Director M. Teguh Wirahadikusumah stated that the\nseries of programmes covers four key areas: public health, education,\nnatural disaster relief or emergency response, and socio-cultural\npreservation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe momentum of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence\nserves as a reminder for us to continue being present and contributing\ndirectly to the community,\u201d Teguh said in a written statement in Jakarta\non Monday (31\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n
The activities commenced with a blood donation drive on 14 August\n2026, at Menara Danareksa in collaboration with Cipto Mangunkusumo\nHospital (RSCM). The event saw 197 participants, exceeding the target of\n15 to 150, with the donated blood handed over to RSCM to support the\nblood supply.<\/p>\n
PPA also conducted the PPA Mengajar Employee Volunteer Programme\n(EVP), involving 15 employee volunteers teaching 41 students from grades\n2 to 6 at Sekolah Kami in Bekasi.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn addition to teaching activities, PPA also provided educational\nassistance to four institutions serving children with limited access to\neducation, namely Sekolah Kami (Bekasi), Rumah Autis\/Cagar Foundation\n(Bekasi), Sekolah Masjid Terminal (Depok), and Sekolah Tahfidzpreneur\n(Bogor),\u201d Teguh added.<\/p>\n
These four institutions serve children of scavengers, the\nunderprivileged, persons with disabilities, street children, and orphans\nwithin the Greater Jakarta area.<\/p>\n
To respond to the earthquake in NTT, PPA distributed two tonnes of\nlogistical aid in two stages. The first stage was delivered on 19 August\n2026 through the BNPB Logistics Assistance Post at Halim Perdanakusuma\nAirbase, consisting of one tonne of basic food supplies in 196 packages,\nincluding instant noodles, rice, corned beef, and sardines.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe second stage was carried out on 22 August 2026 in collaboration\nwith the Hasanuddin University Engineering Alumni Association (IKATEK\nUNHAS),\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
The second stage, weighing one tonne, included rice, instant noodles,\ncooking oil, eggs, UHT milk, drinking water, as well as operational\nsupport such as electricity and rations for volunteers on the\nground.<\/p>\n
Teguh stated that PPA acted to respond to the NTT earthquake because\nthe basic needs of the affected community required immediate\nattention.<\/p>\n
\u201cCollaboration with BNPB and IKATEK UNHAS ensures that aid can be\ndistributed effectively and precisely,\u201d said Teguh.<\/p>\n
The CSR series concluded with support for the \u20186-Hour Training to\nRead and Write Carakan Jawa (Javanese Script)\u2019 programme, organised by\nthe Bina Aksara Mulya Foundation on 27 and 29 August 2026.<\/p>\n
The programme was held at the Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School in\nJombang and the Mambaul Ma\u2019arif Denanyar Islamic Boarding School in\nJombang, East Java, focusing on strengthening Javanese script literacy\namong the younger generation within the boarding school environment.<\/p>\n
Teguh noted that all CSR activities involved PPA employees as\nvolunteers alongside several partners in their execution.<\/p>\n
