Postal services<\/p>\n

On behalf of the organizing committee of the All-Indonesia
\nPMKN University Students Communications Forum (Forkoma), I wish
\nto express our dissatisfaction with the services rendered by
\nstate-owned postal service company PT Pos (particularly with its
\nBandung municipality branch office). Our disappointment regards
\ninvitation letters for a seminar slated for Oct. 9, 1997 that we
\nsent on a free-stamp facility basis.<\/p>\n
We took the invitation letters to the post office at IKIP
\nBandung on Sept. 2, 1997 to be sent to about 500 principals of
\njunior and senior general and vocational schools from all over
\nWest Java. However, when we later checked with the addressees, we
\nfound that none of them had received the letters. We presumed
\nthat something must have gone wrong.<\/p>\n
I then tried to check on the whereabouts of the invitation
\nletters at the post offices at Cipedes and Jl. Soekarno-Hatta
\nrespectively. They could not be found. We therefore think that it
\nis only proper for PT Pos to account for this matter.<\/p>\n
Since it is the dedication month for the Ministry of Tourism,
\nPost and Telecommunications, we hope it is not too much to expect
\nall of the ministry's institutions, particularly PT Pos, to
\nstrive to enhance the quality of their services. Improved
\nservices are the key to success, aren't they?<\/p>\n
