Djalal's article The American President: Staring at<br>\nthe White House through Rose-tinted Glasses, which was published<br>\non March 12, won the Rp 1,000,000 (US$435) first prize.<\/p>\n<p>Another contributor to the newspaper, Parvathi Nayar Narayan,<br>\nwon a consolation prize of Rp 125,000 for her review Heat:<br>\nMichael Mann's New Crime Thriller 'Heat' is On. Another five<br>\nwriters won consolation prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Noorca M. Masardi from Jakarta Media Communication announced<br>\nthe winners on Tuesday. He said six members of the jury judged<br>\n184 articles on nine selected movies.<\/p>\n<p>Runner-up for the contest was Tina Savitri from Femina women's<br>\nmagazine for her article While You were Sleeping: The dream of<br>\nthe ticket girl. She won Rp 750,000 in cash.<\/p>\n<p>Second runner-up was B. Dharmawan from Hai magazine for his<br>\nreview Heat: Pacino versus de Niro, for which he received Rp<br>\n500,000 in cash.<\/p>\n<p>The contest is held regularly by Jakarta Media Communication<br>\nafter every 10th movie preview for journalists.
