The Task Force for Accelerating Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (Satgas PRR) has distributed Rp272.726 billion in livelihood guarantee (jadup) aid to 54,585 survivors across Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, covering 87% of the planned 62,990 recipients. This initiative, supplemented by Rp107.340 billion in social economic stimulus (BSSE) and housing fill-up aid (BIH) for 35,780 people, alongside full disbursement of Rp1.8 million per family in housing waiting funds (DTH) to 14,021 households, underscores the government's comprehensive approach to restoring both physical infrastructure and community purchasing power post-disaster. Task Force Head Tito Karnavian emphasised the critical role of local governments in expediting survivor data validation to ensure swift and targeted aid delivery.

The Task Force for Accelerating Rehabilitation and Reconstruction
(Satgas PRR) continues to distribute livelihood guarantee (jadup) aid to
survivors in the post-disaster areas of Aceh, North Sumatra (Sumut), and
West Sumatra (Sumbar). The jadup serves as a government instrument to
ensure that the recovery process not only addresses physical
infrastructure but also supports community purchasing power.

The Satgas PRR daily report as of 29 March records that the
distribution of jadup aid has been widespread across the three affected
provinces. Of the total planned allocation for 62,990 individuals,
54,585 have received their entitlements, with a total disbursed amount
of Rp272.726 billion.

In detail, the highest realisation is in Aceh, reaching 42,540
individuals with a total of Rp203.696 billion. In Sumut, Rp53.759
billion has been disbursed to 10,235 individuals, and Rp15.044 billion
has reached 1,794 individuals in Sumbar.

Furthermore, there is a jadup distribution scheme that guarantees the
livelihood continuity of disaster survivors at Rp15,000 per individual
per day for three months. This aid is based on data validation by local
governments (pemda) and is distributed through PT Pos Indonesia.

The achievement of jadup aid distribution is carried out concurrently
with the massive distribution of Social Economic Stimulus Aid (BSSE) and
Housing Fill-Up Aid (BIH). The total BSSE and BIH disbursed has reached
35,780 individuals with a total aid of Rp107.340 billion.

In addition, Satgas PRR is also distributing Housing Waiting Funds
(DTH) aid for residents who do not choose to live in temporary housing
(huntara). The amount of DTH aid provided is Rp600,000 per month for
three months, so each family head receives a total of Rp1.8 million.

To date, all DTH recipient accounts have received fund transfers,
with a distribution rate of 100% for 14,021 recipients in the three
provinces. The breakdown is 8,099 recipients in Aceh, 4,162 in Sumut,
and 1,760 in Sumbar.

Previously, during the Handover of Keys for Phase One 120 Permanent
Housing Units for Disaster Victims in Tapsel Regency, Sumut, the Head of
the Task Force for Accelerating Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and
Reconstruction in Sumatra, Tito Karnavian, reminded that the
disbursement of financial aid, including jadup, household furniture aid,
economic stimulus support, and DTH, greatly depends on the speed and
completeness of data collection carried out by local governments.

For this reason, Tito urged regional heads in the affected areas to
accelerate and complete the data on disaster survivors, so that aid can
be immediately disbursed in a targeted manner.

“The faster we receive it, the faster BPS can conduct field
verification, the faster BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency) can
move,” said Tito on Friday (27/3).
",
