'Post' becomes 'past'<\/p>\n
Of late, there is an inordinate delay in delivery of The
\nJakarta Post. Delivery is often erratic. Previously, we used to
\nget the Post delivered at home at least before office hours. It's
\nno longer the case now. Another subscriber-friend of mine concurs
\nwith this view. What is the point in reading a morning newspaper
\nat night? The Post then belongs to the \"past\".<\/p>\n
While this is the fate of subscribers in the city, what of
\nreaders in the outer regions who may be getting the Post the next
\nday?<\/p>\n
I understand that the Post has a joint distribution network
\nwith the Kompas daily. Whenever, for any reason, there is a delay
\nin the Kompas printing house, the Post, though ready for
\ndistribution, is naturally held up. This must be the case for
\nKompas also, should The Jakarta Post suffer a bottle-neck in
\nprinting.<\/p>\n
I shall be thankful if you would consider better arrangements
\nfor the expeditious delivery of your newspaper.<\/p>\n
