        "content": "<p>Poso plotters' appeal rejected<\/p>\n<p>PALU, Central Sulawesi: South Sulawesi Provincial Court<br>\nrejected on Saturday appeals for lighter sentences for Fabianus<br>\nTibo, Marianus Riwu and Dominggus da Silva who have all been<br>\nsentenced to death by a lower court for their involvement in the<br>\nPoso riot.<\/p>\n<p>The head of the court, Judge Munziri Syarkawi, said a panel of<br>\njudges supported the sentence handed to the three people.<\/p>\n<p>The three accused were sentenced to death on April 8 after<br>\nhaving been found guilty of plotting the riots that erupted from<br>\nMay 23 to late June last year.<\/p>\n<p>The clashes claimed the lives of up to 200 people and left<br>\nhundreds of other people homeless.
